Celebrating 20 years of amazing ideas and resources for the church

Rt Revd Richard Chartres - Bishop of London led the service and delivered the sermon at the launch of "Church of Fools" - the world's first 3d virtual Church online. The Bishop who also opened the exhibition said he was greatly encouraged at the growth and nationwide spread of CRE and said that it "exemplifies the work of communicating better resources."
The launch of this unique venture was just one of hundreds of highlights at the 20th Christian Resources Exhibition in May. others included:
- The filming of a new Bible video with triple-jump world record holder, Jonathan Edwards
- The presentation of the UK Christian Book awrds by Ann Widdecombe, MP
- A lecture on the mystery of unanswered prayer by Anne Graham Lotz
- 80 seminars from renowned speakers such as Adrian Plass, Gerald Coates and Steve Chalke
- Music, theatre, Comedy and much more i the new CRE Arts Cafe.
Since the first show in 1985 hundreds of thousands of people have visited Christian Resources Exhibitions (CRE) and left better trained, advised and equipped for ministry. This 20th National event was even bigger and better, with many new suppliers and organizations alongside an outstanding programme of seminar and entertainment features
Some 8,392 Christians, teachers and church leaders visited the show over four days - an increase of 12.76% over the previous show. Additionally 2,657 exhibitor staff were registered bringing the total attendance to a staggering 11,329!
