Exhibition Bookshop to offer a richer, more reflective experience

Reading, relaxing, reviewing and reviving!
That’s the thinking behind a new feature at the Heart of England
Christian Resources Exhibition (International Centre, Telford, Thursday 21- Saturday 23 February 2008).
”Our aim is to make visiting the bookshop an enjoyable experience,
explains Steve Briars, Event Director of CRE.
An extensive range of products will be available - including
children's books, Bibles, biographies, fiction, study resources and
gift products but while there will be many special offers, we
want to get away from rummaging and create a more relaxed, reflective
atmosphere.
Another new feature of the Heart of England CRE is the Spotlight showcase. In 10-minute segments, exhibitors will showcase products and
services, hosted by TV & radio broadcaster Robert Bond. Authors like
Joel Edwards of the Evangelical Alliance will be interviewed about
his forthcoming book, An Agenda for Change, followed by a signing
session. Spotlight will be the ideal place for visitors to stop and engage with the many creative and informative presentations that will be taking place, says Steve.
The exhibition will be staged at Telford for the first time. The
purpose-built centre is one of the UK premier exhibition venues
providing excellent facilities for both exhibitors and visitors, with
plenty of close parking.
As we strive to make our churches more accessible to the
communities we serve it is vital to equip ourselves with the best
resources available and to learn from those who have experience and
knowledge of the issues facing today’s church, said Rt Rev
