BCHN Architects specialise in church design, schools and housing.  Our church work ranges from the design and construction of new churches, to the installation of new kitchens and toilets; repairs to historic church fabric and reordering of church interiors. We also carry out quinquennial inspections to some 50 churches.

Current major projects include Aintree Baptist Church, Liverpool - planning consent received; Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Stoke on Trent - feasibility stage for a new church hall; Pentacostal Church at Junction 10, Walsall - planning consent for a new church imminent; Headlands United Reformed Church, Northampton - about to be submitted for planning; Newport Pagnell Baptist Church, Milton Keynes - starting on site July 2026, Luton Hindu Temple - starting on site July 2025.

Smaller projects include new kitchens and toilets at St Luke Sambrook, St Mary Eaton Constantine and St Peter Stanton Lacy.

We specialise in engagement with church and community to resolve the needs of large client groups.  Our collaborative design process ensures that all voices are heard and that practical solutions to real needs are achieved.

Our office is based in Shrewsbury, with a satellite office in Walthamstow, North London, enabling us to covert the whole of the UK.
