Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse that shares the Good News of Jesus with millions of children around the world. Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts provide a unique way for churches to share the Gospel in new areas. In addition to hearing a Gospel presentation, the boys and girls who receive gift-filled shoeboxes are invited to participate in The Greatest Journey discipleship program, where they learn how to faithfully follow the Lord and share Him with others. As a result of this 12-lesson course, communities are transformed and new churches are started. Every year over 3 million children make first-time decisions for Christ because of Operation Christmas Child gift-filled shoeboxes.
