Andy Flannagan Appointed Host for Church Leaders Conference

London, UK – 19th March 2026: The Church Resources Exhibition (CRE) has announced Andy Flannagan, Executive Director of Christians in Politics, as Conference Host and Moderator for the new Church Leaders Conference, taking place on 14–15 October 2026 at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey.

Well known across the UK Christian community, Andy Flannagan is the author of the critically acclaimed book Those Who Show Up, which has inspired many Christians to engage more actively in politics, public life and cultural leadership. He is Executive Director of Christians in Politics and plays a key role in equipping Christians to be influential across society through his leadership within the Gather UK Movement.

Alongside his work in public life and leadership development, Flannagan is also an established musician. His songs, including We Seek Your Kingdom and We Are Blessed, are widely used in churches across the UK and beyond.

As Conference Host, Andy Flannagan will lead the Church Leaders Conference, a dedicated two-day programme at CRE designed to address the real-world challenges and opportunities facing church leadership teams today. The conference will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions and practical sessions, supporting thousands of church leaders, staff and volunteers from across the UK.

Commenting on his appointment, Andy Flannagan said:

“Church leaders are navigating incredibly complex cultural, pastoral and organisational challenges. I’m really looking forward to hosting the Church Leaders Conference at CRE and helping create space for honest conversation, practical insight and encouragement. This is about listening well to church leaders and shaping a programme that genuinely supports them in the realities of ministry today.”

To ensure the conference content reflects the most pressing issues facing churches, Andy Flannagan and the CRE team are inviting church leaders to take part in a short survey. Responses will directly inform the conference agenda, speaker topics and discussion themes.

The survey is a vital part of shaping the programme,” Flannagan added.I’d strongly encourage church leaders to share what they’re facing right now, so the conference speaks directly into those challenges.”

Andy Flannagan’s appointment reflects CRE’s ongoing commitment to equipping church leaders with relevant, practical and faith-rooted support as they respond to the realities of ministry in today’s context.
