Nigel Walter is a Specialist Conservation Architect; working through his Cambridge practice, Archangel, he helps churches thrive as living buildings, a binding together of people and place to the glory of God. Nigel is inspecting architect for some 70 historic churches and holds a PhD in Conservation from the University of York. He is a member of the Church Buildings Council (CBC), and a trustee of the National Churches Trust. Nigel is also a Licensed Lay Minister in his local parishes, and writes on church buildings, sustainability and conservation.
