Surveys show that upwards of 70% of Christian men and one third of Christian women are viewing pornography, putting marriages and families at risk.
The numbers of youth viewing pornography are staggering, with many kids getting their first exposure to porn at the age of 8. Tragically, many churches avoid these issues, which plays a significant role in keeping those who are hurting in shame and loneliness.
In this workshop, Mike Genung, founder of Blazing Grace, will share the story of his struggles with porn and sex addiction and how God set him free, provide effective answers for recovery and healing for men and wives, discuss approaching our youth, and offer Blazing Grace’s resources to those who want to make a difference. Mike's Biography
Mike Genung struggled with sex addiction for 20 years before God set him free in 1999. In 2000 he founded Blazing Grace, an international ministry to those who struggle with pornography and sexual sin that also ministers to the spouse. Mike is the author of 9 books. He speaks in churches and other venues, does counselling, leads our From Porn to Grace conference, and is the host of the Blazing Grace Radio show.
