Change, Complaints & Courage: Practical Wisdom for Leaders. Matt Summerfield in Conversation with Andy Flannagan

Speakers:

  • Matt Summerfield, Senior leader of Zeo Church and founder of Reboot Your Leadership
  • Andy Flannagan, Executive Director of Christians in Politics

Matt Summerfield was Chief Executive of the National Youth and Children’s Ministry movement, Crusaders (now Urban Saints), for 18 years. During that time, he led the team through a number of significant change programmes, including the transition from Crusaders to Urban Saints in 2007- a move that sparked over 600 letters and emails expressing concern and complaint.

In this practical webinar, Matt reflects on lessons learned through those experiences, including:

  • Why people can react so strongly to change, and how to respond in ways that help them keep moving forward
  • Key tips for staying on track, including making sure God is ultimately leading the process
  • How to care well for personal well-being while leading through change

Matt is a senior leader of Zeo Church and founder of RebootYourLeadership.com, a training and retreat programme for Christian leaders in business, charity, and church. Matt brings nearly 40 years of leadership experience across commercial, charitable, and faith sectors. He began his career as an IT manager, then spent 18 years as Chief Executive of Urban Saints. For the past 12+ years, he has led Zeo, recently championing a new vision to grow as a micro-church movement.
